What to expect when taking the TOEFL Exam

TOEFL

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. It’s a standardized test to measure the English language ability of non-native English speakers. The exam is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions as well as several US Universities. Many scholarship programs, licensing/certification agencies, and government agencies use TOEFL scores to evaluate a candidates understanding of the English language.

The test is either taken on paper or computer, depending on where you live. The computer based test is referred to as iBT and the paper-based test is called PBT. GEPS offers several quiet rooms to take the test in uninterrupted. For more information feel free to contact us!
